Somebody is always a loser. If your party lost (nationally or locally), tell us how you feel.
To paraphrase an old musical, "When the votes bite, when the polls sting, when your feeling sad, do you remember your political goals and then you don't feel so bad?"

The GOP did well in my local elections (as I live in the conservative northeastern coroner of Illinois north of leftist Chicago) but I was upset by the Presidential election. Even my conservative area voted for Obama. I am fearful of the kind of President he is going to be and I think foreign powers will take advantage of him. Side: Republican
