Sooo sad- I can't imagine. He's just a little boy. This is when the death penalty actually seems kind.

It is now 9:00 PM EST where I live and unless they're keeping everything a deep dark secret, no one has heard anything about this poor young man since Friday. Whoever perpetrated this terrible and mind-shattering event has also taken Julian King, 7 years old, away...or has taken him somewhere and done away with him! It's unthinkable that something like this can happen in a family but it does...all too often. Jennifer has offered a $100,000.00 reward for any information.

I have the queerest feeling in the pit of my stomach that Julian King will not be found for some time. I hope I am wrong for what does a 7 year old boy know of anything that has happened in that tragic family? But now he was probably the only witness to the slayings and knows all too well who did this! Neighbors have stated that all was not well within the family and it was troubled. I cannot believe this was a random shooting but you never know!

While the troubled family issue bears looking at closely, is it possible that someone in the neighborhood, a friend perhaps, may have thought because of Jennifer's success there might be money there? The neighborhood was not a good one so I have heard...it was the South Side and the family didn't wish to move. Jennifer may have just been there on Thursday to celebrate her sister's 31st birthday! Was it money or was it family strife? Will Julian be found alive? What do you think?

My gut feelings never fail me...I had wished for something entirely different but it is what it is, I'm so sorry Jennifer.

This afternoon the terrible news came. Julian King has been found dead in the back seat of Jason Hudson's car found on a Chicago street on the West Side. Jason Hudson is the brother of Jennifer Hudson, who was slain last Friday along with his mother in their Chicago home. Jennifer Hudson made her last trip to the morgue this afternoon to identify the boy's remains. It was reported that he had been shot several times. William Balfour is still being detained at this time and is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, Jennifer's sister.

I know I just can't imagine. The only things I kill are flies and mosquitoes and even then I'm aware I've just killed something. To kill a human? A child? What kind of person has that ability?
