For to which of the angels did God ever say .. You are my Son .. Today I have become your Father .. Or again .. I will be his Father .. and he will be my Son . . . And again .. when he brings his firstborn into the world .. he says . . . Let all God's angels worship him .. Now about the angels he says .. He makes his angels winds .. and his servants flames of fire . . . >> But about the Son he says .. Your throne .. The Bible is extremely clear on this point ..... (prophecy of the coming Messiah) For unto us a child is born .. unto us a son is given .. and the government shall be upon his shoulder .. and his name shall be called Wonderful .. Counselor .. The mighty God .. The everlasting Father .. The Prince of Peace . . . Isaiah 9:6

See to it that no-one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy .. which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ .. For in Christ all the fulness of the Deity lives in bodily form . . . and you have been given fulness in Christ .. who is the Head over every power and authority . . . http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=670#p670 Colossians 2:8-10

Colossians 1:12-17 Tells us Jesus Created all things that exist.

" Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

John 1:1-5 Tells us Jesus is the Word and that he made all things.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:9-14

"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

It is all in the mind of the beholder. If someone believes that Jesus is the Son of God, then nothing can take away that belief.

The Bible is extremely unclear on this point. The narrative of the Bible would suggest that he was not. Jesus is angry and confused at his father at time and does nothing in his miracles that a Christian (also a 'son of God') wouldn't be able to do if God was to act through them.

John 10:30-33

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Why did I get downvoted? I would like to get an explanation instead of a downvote?
