Jesus was English
I don't know where this statement orignally popped up from, but I've always heard it through childhood.
I just set up this debate in the hope that someone will be daring enough to fight for the "Agree" side.

Mormons believe Jesus visited and will return to Jackson County Missouri: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Nephi http://institute.lds.org/manuals/ (which I guess means he spoke whatever native american language was prevalent there at the time) As for English, as many defenders of religion on this site typically use - you can't disprove a negative; therefore since someone believes it, that means it's true ;) Side: Agree

That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Clearly if you have to translate his words from Greek and Hebrew... He was not "English." The Bible itself tells you he was born in Bethlehem.. Clearly that is not "English." I've never heard that said before in my life so I would hope you would correct those people who would say such a thing. Side: Disagree
