John Wayne walked like a girl.
The guy who helped make John Wayne "John Wayne" noticed that the Duke was kind of heavy-footed. He plodded along more than he walked. He told Duke to point his toes when he walked.
"Take a step and point your toe, like you’re stabbing it into the ground—left foot, right foot. Your shoulders automatically move back and forth, and the hips follow, not unlike Marilyn Monroe’s walk." There is "a distinctly feminine swooshing of the hips, and a pronounced case of pigeon toe." [1]
Yup. That's right. John Wayne. John Wayne's walk was famous. He walked like a girl.
