Journalists look out for the rich because journalists are the rich
Journalist used to be a low paying job, so journalists looked out for the poor. Now, the path to journalism is through rich schools and through the rich elites. Journalists making low wages look out for those making low wages. Journalists who make millions look out for those who make millions.
Journalists look out for the rich because journalists are the rich
Hello:
I suspect you believe that cause your fav newspeople are on FOX News, and they DEFINITELY look out for the rich.. I see you also buy into the Trump lie that the media are "enemies of the people".. It further exposes your ignorance of the 4th Estate.
Excon, what LIES? Be specific. You also avoided Bront's questions, is he a LIAR to?
Here (below) are my questions that you failed to adequately respond to.
1) How is eliminating Election Day registration suppressing minority voting?
2) How is a basic requirement of providing proof of citizenship to vote suppressing minority voters?
3) How is auditing election results suppressing minority voting?
4) And finally, how is giving citizens (of all races) the right to sue election officials suppressing minorities?
Excon, your only answers are "it's SUPPRESSION" without explaining how so. For example, Bront said to you :"You're still yet to even show that voter suppression even exists on any substantial level. "No one can be given water" effects both parties and all races equally".
Does he not deserve a respectful answer? I'd ask you the same question.
I didn't.. You couldn't WIN without using words I DIDN'T use.. Are you too fucking stupid to know that, or are you too evil?
Pick one. In either case, you LOSE. So, we're done here.. Can't debate someone who doesn't understand words, or makes them up because he's losing.. Just CANNOT debate a motherfucking LIAR.
Excon, you said that blacks will not be motivated to stay in polling lines if they are not served water. You also said that black people overwhelmingly register to vote on Election Day as opposed to other demographics that successfully register beforehand.
I posted this to you in the middle of our debate :" Excon, why do blacks OVERWHELMINGLY register to vote on election day? As opposed to Asian, Indian, White, Latino, etc.. American voters have no difficulty registering to vote earlier? In France, a nation with many African immigrants there is no mail in voting and all citizens (like here) need to wait for hours. Why would black voters require water and food while in line to encourage staying in line to vote? Please explain why there is a difference between white (and other demographic voters) to that of black voters.
Your very next reply to me was "Dude! We debated.. I WON. Later".
Excon, this is CLEAR evidence of a common theme with you, running away and avoiding debate.
"Giving them (black people) water encourages them to stay in line and vote.. Eliminating that right SUPPRESSES the vote. - Excon
How would you interpret that (above) quote? Other demographics are not asking for water in order to be encouraged to stay in polling lines. And they certainly are not complaining of being voter suppressed. So what makes black people different in this scenario? How is being given water in polling lines a "right"?!?
So, you ADMIT you're a motherfucking liar? After NINE times saying I said something else, you FINALLY admit you're a motherfucking liar. Dude! I cannot, absolutely cannot, debate this way any more... Just can't do it..
Excon, breath. Go outside and take a walk. I don't think that engaging in political debate works for you. You have obvious behavioral issues & mental disorders that prevent you from being able to put forth cognitive, rational and intelligent arguments.
I feel that you have spent WAY too much of your time on this website (a ridiculous 16,821 posts) without gaining any traction. I'd advise you to work on doing something more productive because running around here calling yourself the "Jewish Prince" and constantly humiliating yourself is as I said earlier, not a good look.
Excon, please stop with your cursing and odd mental breakdown, it's not a good look.
You've made it quite clear that you are VERY MUCH wanting to run away from this debate. Here (below) are your quotes of avoiding and running from this debate.
"Dude! We debated.. I WON. Later". - Excon
"Look. I answered your "open challenge". We debated. I kicked butt. Ain't nothing gonna change. Let's just stop now, and declare ME the winner.". - Excon
"So, we're done here.. Can't debate a total LIAR. Just can't." - Excon
"Can't debate a liar.. Just can't, and I ain't gonna". - Excon
"Can't debate someone who doesn't understand words, or makes them up because he's losing.. Just CANNOT debate a motherfucking LIAR". - Excon
"Cannot debate with a liar. Just can't do it". - Excon
"Nope.. Just CANNOT debate with a motherfucking LIAR". - Excon
"Dude! I cannot, absolutely cannot, debate this way any more... Just can't do it". - Excon
EXCON, this is more CLEAR evidence that you are afraid of debating me. Throughout our debate I have never called you a LIAR and I have never said that I refuse to further debate with you.
Hey, motherfucking liar.. I OPENLY asked you a question.. When the fuck did I use the word INCAPABLE?? Why are you avoiding debate? Why are you afraid to debate me using MY words???
Why are you avoiding my question?? Do you not know what INCAPABLE means???
Nope.. Just CANNOT debate with a motherfucking LIAR.
Excon, I never claimed you said the word "incapable". However, you obviously referenced the ideas that blacks are being (in your words) voter suppressed. You have offered no facts backing your claim. Every demographic is not being offered water in polling lines, every demographic is being asked to register before election day. So how do these voting laws directly affect black people more than other demographics? You have FAILED to give a definitive answer. So one has to assume that in your view black people are "incapable" of successfully voting without preferential treatment.
Excon, you have been OPENLY asked MANY questions by me and other posters on this forum. You either ignore those questions or answer in a childish, rude and dismissive manner with no FACTS that back them.
I feel the rich should be respected for having the ability to achieve a level of prosperity which life's losers can only dream about.
The poor seem to derive a degree of comfort by casting aspersions and engaging in ''name calling'' on those whose higher level of intelligence, entrepreneurial skills, work ethic, ambition and dedication has earned them an elevated position on the ladder of the wealthy.
As I've said many times before, life is a competition and as with all competitions there will be winners and losers.
If the front runners in a race have lapped the tortoises a few times that seems to be acceptable.
Or, let's say the Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73 nil no one accuses the winners of cheating or having the referee on their payroll.
But when those who become hyper successful due to their ability, drive and discarding most aspects of life's social and domestic pursuits and dedicate their existence on God's earth to amassing wealth they become objects of scorn and ridicule by the laggards.
Excon, what is your evidence of your VERY ODD statements? So a person that wins the lottery has friends in high places? What is your description of "obscenely wealthy" (dollar amount)? Offer names of Elon Musk's high place friends.
I can not agree with your claim that journalists support the rich because they are the rich, I think the problem is deeper than that.
In the 1900's only around 2% of people had gone to university and all of these graduates were part of the Establishment. They were the sons and daughters of the ruling and middle classes and most of them supported the Establishment. There were always left wing "eggheads" in the Humanities departments who were Bolshie but they were very much a minority.
What has changed in the western world is that the graduate class now account for between 15% to 30% of western populations, and many of hem are Humaities graduates (like journalists). That is a significant and influential political demographic. Many of them are "rich" but many of them are just public servants or journalists working for a wage. These wage earners should be called "working class" but that is a distinction which fills them with horror. Their ownership of a diploma means that they consider themselves special. They have a compulsive and deep psychological need to distance themselves from the working class people they used to claim to champion, but who they very much look down upon.
What defines this growing class is not money, but attitudes. They love to display their class affiliations by always having opinions diametrically different from both the working class they despise, and the bourgeoisie who are usually their long suffering parents. It goes without saying that their numbers are concentrated within the public service but they also cultivate the artistic class, as they consider them part of their elite group. Many journalists rub shoulders with arty farty types at Movie Premiers, Grand Openings, fashion shows, art galleries, and social functions.
Thus what we see in the bizarre behaviour of left wing journalists is primarily a form of class distinction and class superiority.
You're big into percentages so let's look at a set of percentages known as the Pareto Principle.
In commercial terms this is usually interpreted as being able to recognize that 20% of the clients in a particular business-sector represents 80% of the market.
The astute businessman will identify the 20% and aggressively launch a campaign to secure as large a percentage as possible.
In the final analysis it's the guy who does less pontificating and effects his shrewd business plan who whizzes past you in his Roller on way to the luxury yacht he has moored in Monaco's Port Hercule.
