Yeah, I'm just going to come out and say it: I don't give a shit.

This gives me no logical reason to change my mind, and I know you won't either.

Of course not. That would require intelligence. The problem is you're trapped in a vicious circle of your own stupidity.

I must be retarded, because I keep coming back here and enduring your company.

Or, maybe I just need the cautionary reminder of the fate of bootlicking faggots such as yourself. It's kinda like going to the zoo and seeing that the sloth is either too stupid, lazy, or scared to notice that the zookeeper left the door open.

Nothing perplexes me more than the average American's ability (and willingness) to defend things which are completely indefensible. We should start selling t-shirts which read, "Please Forgive My Low IQ. I'm From The States."

Let's approach your thread from a less confrontational, face-off, onto a more psychological, maybe even metaphysical (not religious) standpoint.

To proceed in this vein I am of the opinion that while we must accept America is a violent country, murder as well as violent crime, which is, was and always will be, to a greater or lesser extent a congenital characteristic of the human psyche', exists in every society on earth.

As the world's population explodes towards the 8 billion mark the only predators that can make any significant reduction in our numbers is US.

The dent that other predators such as lions wolves, crocodiles, snakes etc., make on our unsustainable population growth is totally insignificant.

So, we homo sapiens have become the 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse.

As the other four, Death, War, famine and Conquest have failed to keep our ever increasing numbers in check nature has unshackled the 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse that lies dormant in everyone and entered us upon a subconscious path of the destruction of our species.

Of course, which is precisely why we shouldn't ever saturate a country with guns. If the propensity for violence is part of the human condition -- and I agree with you it is -- then what sense does it make to arm every single person with the means to commit mass murder with the twitch of a finger? There's only ever going to be one result of that: a completely unnecessary number of bodies. The easier lethal violence is to achieve, the more of it will be seen.

So, we homo sapiens have become the 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse.

and entered us upon a subconscious path of the destruction of our species.

So much money is being made from the firearms industry that it's far more tempting to mass brainwash the public into believing taking guns away would harm them, than it is to do the right thing and restrict them. The exact same principle applies to other products also, like fossil fuels and tobacco. Granted, steps are now being taken against the proliferation of tobacco, but it's much too late because the damage has already been done. The point is that capitalism is such a self-centred and damaging system, that it encourages people to literally wipe out large swathes of the population in order to continue making money.

I am strongly of the opinion that capitalism exists because it is a system of social/economic hierarchy which is inherent in most, not all, but most species on earth.

Communism has its grading and social stratum, and like capitalism is riddled with corruption.

Life is a competition and whether we are competing in this never ending struggle within the social constructs and/or authoritive restraints of communism or capitalism we do nevertheless have to compete in order to survive.

As the world's population has reached insupportable levels the ongoing left/right, capitalist/communist ideology wrangling becomes a diminished issue with the fight for self-preservation becoming the dominant if not the only objective worth fighting for.
