I don't think Obama lied. He made a slip of the tongue and said 57 states. He was in the middle of a grueling campaign and he was tired when he said it. He's human. The Reich wing has latched onto his slip of the tongue and made a huge deal of it because they don't have anything else.

As far as the "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" goes, he was in the middle of a battle to get the AHCA passed and he wanted that to happen but the republicans perpetual recalcitrance forced him to concede that issue.
