Locking People in a God Debate Room for a few years?

If you choose the affirmative position, you think that locking people in a room of debate for a few years would lead to atleast some people being converted to one side or another. People in the room would receive food and other supplies for disputing. The question is, do you think people could persuade people from one side to join their side if they debated for YEARS? How about if everything had to be said in a certain way, a way that sparks the least conflict or mental opposition? (ex: A: "God exists... look at everything around you." B: "You don't know that. The world isn't proof that God exists." would be an example of a reply that may trigger resistence. The reply that sparks the least resistence would be: B: "Are you sure about that? Is the existence of the universe proof, necessarily, that god exists? What if another god exists?"

Its not even worth arguing over it because they will never convert or would want to be a part of what I believe in but that is fine because it is there choice and I have no problem with it. I just wish there was even amount of Christians and atheists then it would be fine with me.

For most of the atheists I know, they are not stubbornly in the position of "I will never believe in god, no matter what". If religious people can provide a good case for god, that would be progress. So far, no religious person has been able to provide such a case for god.

I doubt it will convert anyone, especially if the people in the room strongly believe in their opinions and views. :P People are stubborn..

No, religious people are stubborn.

You are stubborn.

I was Christian once, but found it to be false. I was open minded and accepted the possibility that I might be wrong.

I was proven wrong, and so I accepted that.

You are not like that, which is why you have absolutely no evidence that you are correct, except for "A good guess/feeling" and "The Bible", which is equal to the Book of the Dead, the Torah, the Koran, the Vedas, the Kalevala and nearly every religious book that exists.

It's just silly. It's not me or atheists that are stubborn. It's religious people.

No. Both sides are stubborn. You proved it right now. Always stating how the Bible isn't evidence, and faith isn't real, and how the entire concept of God is silly. No matter what we (Christians) say, you never understand. You're just as stubborn as we are.
