Then why don't libs become cops

We got the Jim Crow drug war

Which targets individual decisions without regard to race thus making it nothing like Jim Crow.

we got MASS incarceration

Which started with the Dems mental health de-institutionalization of the 1970’s and reflects more of a crime problem than anything. Even if we only had crimes against persons and property our incarceration rate would outstrip other nations. Some mental health re-institutionalization would help.

Do you literally just believe every op ed on MSNBC? First, black people are not being killed disproportionate to race and crime. Second, the few scenarios of unjustified lethal force has resulted in murder charges. Third, reduced police presents in black neighborhoods was once a racist strategy against black people, now it’s the demand from BLM, the group that promotes the false claims you’re parroting.

If you wanna carry on the Republican tradition of helping black people, there's plenty to do..

Republicans shouldn’t be worried about helping any given ethnic group or special identity. National leadership should be leading the nation. But if they say that, they are racist for not specifically caring about x group. Caring about x group is what Dems do.
