Male Teens Babysitting Female Children?

Should 15-year-old boys be allowed to babysit 6-year-old girls?

(I assume you're implying some sort of pervert thing, as you specifically mentioned young female children but not males?)

Sure. You can't just be paranoid about every possibility of something going wrong, and make laws against anything that worries you, or it would end up being illegal for people to even speak to each other.

It's like saying that it should be illegal for people to get within five feet of one another in case someone is a murderer.

If you're just saying that teenage boys are too irresponsible then you could have a point.

I have no problem with it but I have to have absolute confidence in the person first. Notice I said "the person", I don't care the gender, I have to be able to trust them with my babies. If they came highly recommended by another person or multiple others than i would still like to have a few initial meet and greets where we all meet to make sure he or she is comfortable with my kids and I and my children are comfortable with them.

It completely depends on both the teenage male and the female child. They each have their own personalities and behavioral histories. Furthermore there are factors which could mitigate any sexual concerns, such as if the male teen is outright homosexual, or it's a well known fact to all that there are cameras recording everywhere in the house, or quite frankly if you're sure the girl can easily kick the boys ass if he gets out of line.

It's not an automatic yes. Probably more often than not the parent will choose a different babysitter scenario.

So according to you it is probably more often than not that a parent can make that decision ? If the parent does not make that decision is it left up to the government ?

You Leftist prove without a shadow of a doubt that parents making decisions is questionable in your Twisted Mind.

Neither I nor the debate proposition at the top of the screen said a single thing about government involvement.

If that young person is capable of looking after a child there should be no problem. Is someone trying to say that teenaged boys are not capable or that they are not to be trusted in another sense? If you take this at the face value the answer should be yes. Any more argument there is for another debate in its own right.

So, we all know how kids are, especially little preteen girls, they are so susceptible to, the power of beauty! Most see the missing father figure, when they see a really handsome young teen, taking care of them, they seem to let go, and forgive the innocent touching and tickling games, etc, which turns into the, don't tell on me, and I want to leave you, mentality. Boys at that age, are easy to manipulate. Manipulation by a six-year-old little girl, may cloud the better judgment of the teenager, and lead to inappropriate contact. So, what I'm trying to say is, don't put your little princess into the hands of the unknown. But, I must also say that there are a lot of teenage girls out there that may fall into the same category. The concept of babysitting, is truly scary. You will never know what goes on in your house, with your child, so roll the dice and hope for the best outcome. :)
