Democrats live in a comfy world. A safe world. The question is, do you really want more and more people to live safely? People you hate. People you would prefer were dead? Are you willing to risk your own life if it means their lives will be endangered as well? Are you willing to you risk your own life if it means having the tools to kill them more easily? Mass killings are driven by hate, whether logical or not. If you hate, you can understand the allure of guns. Will you give into it, will you feed the beast? Or will you keep chained the tools of war as a safety measure to prevent yourself from giving into the beast. I suddenly understand the reasoning behind your reasoning. It is hate. You want everyone to suffer. I get it, that anger. But it is your decision whether you let it rule your life or not. You decide. 21,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. This is one person every four seconds. That is much more people than can be attributed to the Islamic Radicals. AIDS is now second only to the Black Death as the largest epidemic in history. AIDS kills roughly 1.5 million people a year, or about one person every 20 seconds, as you can see here. This death toll surprisingly includes a lot of children, who are often infected with the HIV virus during pregnancy or through breast-feeding. The toll is worst in Africa, where millions of parents have died, leaving children as orphans. Often teachers have died as well, leaving schools empty. Doctors and nurses have died, leaving hospitals and medical clinics with nothing. Farmers have died, leaving crops in the fields. Entire villages have been devastated. Pneumonia and other forms of acute respiratory infection (ARI) kill over one million children alone each year in poor countries. Pneumonia is contagious and is commonly transmitted when an infected person coughs or sneezes small droplets that contain the germ into the air. If treated, pneumonia usually is not fatal.
