I'll be staying at home. I won't be getting any Christmas presents on Christmas because I already got a lot of things throughout the year. I'll probably watch a movie, and read the Bible about the Christmas story of when Jesus came down to earth in a form of a baby.

Merry Christmas to you too and have a blessed holiday! This year we are actually hosting a family dinner, and we are all doing a Christmas hymn sing-a-long.

Murry Christmilk!

I plan on playing my guitar very loudly.

Yup...

Maybe I'll dress like a hobo to see if I can get some free itams.

Christmas is about giving and receiving!

I prefer the receiving half!

Merry Christmas..... may we all live a life where the Golden rule is foremost in our thoughts as we go about our daily lives.

The next time a driver cuts out in front of you and you are ready to lay on the horn, ask yourself, would you want others to give you the horn when you pull out in front of them? We have all done stupid things while driving and the Golden rule states that we should treat others as we would want them to treat us.

The world would be an amazing place if we all tried to live by that simple compassionate rule would it not? Imagine if all those who choose to sleep with a another man's wife or who sleep with another woman's husband, would ask themselves how would they feel is someone slept with the one they loved.

The Golden rule works for the smallest and largest of life's issues. It works wonders in marriage when it comes to every day events such as a spouse getting home late from work. Ask yourself would you want your spouse screaming at you for getting home late? If not, don't scream at him! It's quite simple. Now if he or she always gets home late and never tries to improve, and you hardly ever come home late, then it's time to have a serious talk:)

I will admit I fail miserably when debating people on these sites. I sometimes lose my cool and start name calling, or insulting others when they just don't get it :) But I should always think of the golden rule and ask myself how would I want them to respond to me when we don't agree.

So the next time you are ready to scream at someone, think of the Golden rule & you will be amazed at how much better life can be when we make an effort to hold our tongues. Try spending more time pointing out each other's good points rather than dwelling on the bad points. You will find that others will start treating you better as well. It takes two to fight.

God Bless

Yay, Christmas ;)
