Michael Vick is a free man once again!

One thing seems to be clear, Michael Vick will not be playing for the Atlanta Falcons this year or any other year.  They don't want him back after the egregious crime he perpetrated on animals...namely dog fighting til the death.  Vick had to know that what he did was illegal and morally unacceptable under most standards.  The judge didn't even give him extra time off for "acceptance of responsibility" and he got more time, 23 months, than the others that were sentenced.  Do you think Michael Vick should be able to play football again or should this crime prevent him from ever attaining hero's status at any time in his life. It's all in the hands of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.  Let's see if character or money prevails on this one.

Michael Vick is a horrible person for fighting dogs, and I don't want him to be playing for my team, but he should at least be able to become a free agent. If some loser team without a quality QB (like Detriot) want to sign him good for them. I still hate the guy.

Allowing Michael Vick to play football again sends the wrong message to our young people. It tells them that even though the law fell short in cases like these we are also falling short in the forgiveness department and have been to lenient with Mr. Vick. Throughout his imprisonment he's been making money by the sales of his team shirts and posters. Michael Vick is entitled to make a living but let's not give him the whole pie. Let him earn our trust once again.

Oh my god, I've been debating with myself on this one. I don't even know who the guy is, but after much self argueing I would have to say yes whoops no dont let him play again. My thoughts were to not let him play because his fame gives him a moral obligation to set a good example to all the kids out there who want to follow in his footsteps. And then I thought with all of the famous models, actors and musicians who can commit crimes and still work and be back in the limelight again, why shouldn't it be the same for athletes. And then I thought again , and its because sport should be the one thing kept clean. It's for our strongest and fittest. You can't take drugs, you have to wear a uniform, you have to be healthy, you have to play hard. Oh my god I think I'm going to change my mind again. No No No. You have to be the strongest and fittest, and that means you DONT #%$% UP ! Simple as that.
