Mitt Romney to vote to remove Trump, defying Republican party

Utah Senator Mitt Romney is set to become the sole Republican to seek President Donald Trump's removal from office.

Mr Romney said the president was "guilty of an appalling abuse of public trust".

Not voting to convict him would "expose my character to history's rebuke", the senator said.

Obviously a foreigner who is behind on American news. Romney and all Democrats targeting Trump, have ties to the corrupt Burisma company in Ukraine. This has all been an attempt to shut down investigations into them. Only unlike Republicans in the past who backed off when feeling threatened, Trump doesn't give a shit. They're getting investigated. They ARE going down.

Obviously a foreigner who is behind on American news.

That's absolutely hilarious. Three days ago you claimed Trump was at his highest ever approval rating and then tried to support it with an article from July 2019. This story is from today.

Get out you horrible little wifeless, childless scumbag. You are a worthless, disgusting excuse for a man.

An article from today would prove him right. Great logic from a little shit throwing halfwit.

He hates Trump, that's for sure, but why did he need Bolton to testify if he voted to impeach? Isn't the presumption of innocence suppose to be in play here where a Bolton testimony would have tipped the scale on innocence or guilt?

Furthermore, Romney does have ties to Burisma, indirectly, via his advisor, Cofer Black, who sits on the BOD of Burisma.

Democrats believe in guilty till proven innocent. Romeny has always acted more like a Democrat. He has hated Trump since the least election and this is just sour grapes, nothing more.

Democrats hated Romney when he was running against Obama. They made fun of his Mormon cult as they called it.

I remember numerous times the Left saying Trump has yet to prove his innocence. What a backward, upside-down world they live in.

but why did he need Bolton to testify if he voted to impeach

Hello High:

He said that he was hoping Bolton would offer a reason NOT to convict Trump. I believe him.

He does hate Trump, of course. If you're the upstanding individual I think you are, you hate him too.. Why wouldn't you?? Oh, you may like his policies, but I can't believe you admire him as a person..

Romney was going to convict no matter what.

I don't like Trump's bedside manners. He's a combo of a highschool drama queen, the emperor has no clothes and the infante terrible all rolled into one. That said, he's the only one who was willing to talk about, unapologetically, immigration, trade, NATO and a bunch of other topics others were afraid of and he's acting on it, too. That's why I support him.

Romney's vote doesn't put it anywhere closer to impeachment. You'd need 63 votes. They got 48. The end.

Romney's vote doesn't put it anywhere closer to impeachment.

1) It puts it one vote closer to impeachment, so you're wrong.

2) You don't care if Trump is guilty or not, so you're a scumbag.

3) Bye.
