It sure is. You would be happy to give your kids the best education. You would be happy to take your fiancé to a beautiful country to get married. You would be happy to wake up whenever you feel. You would be happy to know that if you want to travel to a certain place for whatever reason, you can. You would be happy to know you are free. You would be happy to see what you want, and have it. You would be happy to know that no one can tell you no.. All said is only possible... with a key... a key of which... is comprised of... nevertheless... money. Side: Chakubva
I'm all for money, but that's because it equals means. Everything you described is assurance of means, which is what money gives us. But if the statement were true, that would mean there was no happiness possible before money, no happiness independent of money, even though there are other forms of means. Is this correct? Money can be an object of happiness when it buys what we need from a society designed in such a way that we need money to enjoy it. However, as an adult I have lived with and near a lot of people who strive to live as simply as possible and enjoy their lives as best they can with as little money as is possible. Money will always be an essential part of our civilisation but we can make decisions upon how much a part of our lives we are dependent upon it for our happiness. Side: Everyone
