In what way was the contents of this video even close to being scientific? This video completely failed every single criteria you ask us for to prove evolution. What am I missing here?

The mind works in mysterious ways, we have much to learn. That's all this near death stuff means.

Hell? You are already there! There is no proof of hell. U have to have a scarecrow

Very interesting video. However, I do not expect this to account as a full set of evidence. I don't think many people on this site will be affected by the video.

So if this passes as proof that Hell exist then I should be able to pull out a blurry video of a alien spaceship and say it is real.

Nobody said it is proof Hell exists. The point is that the Bible says Hell is inside the earth, and described the center of the Earth 4000 years ago, fire and brimstone, and the god "science" who so many worship today, figured out recently that they would have known if they had believed God's word.

The interior of the Earth completely fits the Biblical description, and the Bible says people fell down into Hell when the earth opened.....like a volcanic fissure crack...and swallowed them up.

Scientist will say a blurry photo of an "alien" is not proof of an "alien". They now know that the Bible was right 4000 years before they believed it, the center of the Earth is fire and brimstone. They also know that the surface of the sun resembles a lake of fire, with bursts of eruption resulting in a plasma rain. The Bible says the dead who are in Hell now will be called up into God's courtroom at the Judgement Seat of Christ where everything they have ever said, done, thought, or imagined will be on display for everybody to see, and they will receive their final sentencing, "and death and Hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire. which is the second death.".

If the sun is the Lake of Fire or not, and if Hell is actually in the center of the Earth or not, God has a place of fire to keep sinners who love prefer to die rather than to obey Him....all consuming fire separating evil from the living forever which is the way things have to be because God made all things and God is good.

What good are you if you don't hate evil? God hates evil because He is good. Evil burns against God in passionate pride, and in fire it will be destroyed as it seeks to destroy God.

The point is, wouldn't it be just like God to put the proof of the reality of Hell and the Lake of Fire right in everybody's faces while they insist their is no evidence of Hell or of God. I say, yep, that concept would be true to God's character, as He says:

Psalm 19King James Version (KJV)

19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

And again:

Romans 1: (notice "the wrath of God is revealed from heaven", then think maybe the sun really is the Lake of Fire on full display for all to see God's wrath against sin).

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

You have to think for yourself, young lady. Don't you want to be sure that your sins are forgiven and you are going to heaven?

Oops, I thought you were commenting on my "Live Science, Scientific Evidence of Hell" debate, and my response was as if you had watched the video and read the article, both linked in that OP.

The point of science here is that in near-death-experiences, many times people who have been blind from birth literally see while in a near-death experience, and accurately describe everything that was being said and everything that happened when vital sign monitors in the hospital show no sign of life. There is no explanation for this except that human consciousness is not dependent on the body.

You'll have to pardon me, but I have seen all of this stuff before. It takes bits and pieces of the Bible and ignores others.....and it has to change the meanings in context in order to support various ideas promoted by various groups on the doctrine of Hell.

All religions, including Catholicism, teach that Hell is not eternal condemnation. They teach that eventually everybody gets to be relieved of punishment. Atheism teaches this as belief in un-existing. Jehovah's witnesses teach pretty much the same thing, saying people who won't become JW's will cease to exist, missing out on eternal paradise. Islam teaches that infidels will be sent to Hell where the fire will correct them, and after they learn they must always say God's name is Allah, then Allah lets them out of Hell. That's why they think it's good to kill infidels, they believe it sends the infidels through the steps they must take to be acceptable to Allah so they can live in the Muslim paradise.

Only Jesus Christ and those who know Him as He is, the Word of God, teach Hell is eternal condemnation against sinners who are against God. Jesus was very specific, very plain, very literal, and repeated His admonitions for people to fear destruction in Hell, He said it over and over and over again in the same speaking session. People who are not sure their sins are forgiven get all kinds of ideas because it is hard for them to grasp the fact that God is good when He allows people to go to Hell. The issue is justice...how can God be good if He does not punish evil? Why should anybody hold themselves back from whatever evil they feel like doing if Hell is not forever?

Those quotes do no such thing.

And I think you know that.

The website authors do not infer meaning on those Bible passages.

They do not reinterpret them.

The passages are verbatim.

And if you claim they are cherry picked than I could claim that you cherry pick when offering up quotes about hell. Or God. Since you use the NT Gospels about jesus. And ignore the OT passages on the clearly crazed and homical Yaheweh.

And how about these?

Out of context too?

Did you watch the video of the OP here? The man was a highly educated atheist like you......then he fell ill to a disease which nobody thought he would live through.

Yeah....so the point here is what, exactly?

That we cannot recover from disease and illness without a supernatural entity?

But rather, due to purely natural and explainable physiological causes?

All it takes is for the body to reverse the very process, the physiological one, that caused the pathology in the first place.

This is knows as homeostasis. And the body is always trying to achieve this state. This balance.

Too..what about those who do not recover from potentially fatal diseases?

Does god not like them?

But I thought you said he was all loving?

Why, then, does he help some and not others?

Thanks.
