New Group: Philosophy. Party up guys.

My Internet's been really shitty lately, the wind has been blowing my crappy 50 year old phone lines around, so I only ever get 1 out of every 5 minutes of connectivity, and I don't wait for it to connect... so I haven't had much time to work on it.

congrats on creating your own area. i still haven't done so. I guess I'm waiting to see what everyone creates... i don't want to take away from the site and I'm still trying to accept this new idea. I don't know how i feel about it yet....

Man, another group? All these groups being created or making me want to leave the site in general. Because I"d like to be a part of all of them, but that would take too much damn work.

Well, seeing as Philosophy touches on every corner of knowledge, you just found a new home :P.

Really though, if the communities are used right, it should be easy to make a community a home. Look at 4chan for instance, if 4chan only had one place to post things, you would have a HUGE mess, imagine /wg/ and /g/ and /n/ and /b/ all mixed up together, those are alike, /wg/ is wallpaper, /g/ is technology, /n/ is transportation and /b/ is random... which has a lot of content from all of the other ones (but much stupider)... rather than going to /n/ to talk about trains or whatever, you'd have to go to 4chan and see child porn next to your train thread... or maybe that's a bad example...

Anyhow, it'll help you focused on what you're interested in or at least filter out what you're not interested in (like if you don't want to see JC's content, don't go to the JC community :)
