Government isn't a business and shouldn't be treated as one. There are vast differences between running a business and running a country. One the bottom line is profit, the other the bottom line is people. The constitution is a important thing to be followed, but keep in mind that there are a multitude of ways to interpret it. The problem with libertarians is the belief the economy would be better off as a whole for everyone if the majority of people have much less of a say then a minority of people in most economic matters then if the majority of people had more of a say. The invisible hand can be thought of as the net economic desire of the people, but each individual's will has a magnitude proportional to his wealth. When there are many people of approximately the same wealth the negative affects of a few individual's economic desires 'cancel out' or are of a small magnitude but when just a few people control the invisible hand there is no check against them except for government. Democratic government acts as a balance, giving the poor more of a say in the invisible hand such that negative effects of too few influential players do not occur. I want a president who is a patriot first, conservative second and Republican last. The president needs to follow the constitution to the letter. This land is a republic and not a democracy and as such, it is a land ruled by law in which the constitution is that law. "We are right ! They Are wrong ! That is the end of the story." ~Andrew Wilkow Side: Charlie Sheen 2012
