New York Times On Gun Confiscation
Well the "Leftist" have finally showed their true colors right here in the New York Slimes ! It has always been blatantly obvious as to what they are "Socialist" and they can't hide that truth any longer from the American people by their own admission.
The headline reads -"It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency."
It is not necessary to debate the peculiar wording of the Second Amendment. No right is unlimited and immune from reasonable regulation. Certain kinds of weapons, like the slightly modified combat rifles used in California, and certain kinds of ammunition, must be "outlawed for civilian ownership". It is possible to define those guns in a clear and effective way and, yes, it would require "Americans who own those kinds of weapons to give them up for the good of their fellow citizens".
The Progressive / Leftist want "reasonable regulation". Is "reasonable regulation" to outlaw civilian ownership of whatever the Progressive /Leftist find offensive ? Does the insanity of these people ever stop ?

Did you read the comment carefully. They said they want to outlaw weapons that are designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency. That is all guns!!! Trust me, the NY Times believes all guns should be eliminated. They will not stop until every gun is confiscated. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Why do you think the NRA is opposed to gun regulations. Once the first gun regulation is enacted they will go on to the next one. |
