Challenge Debate: No more Habeus Corpus?
Ever since there was the 9/11 attack, the Habeus Corpus had limited the time that can be used to find evidence that someone was involved in terrorism or had assisted in terrorism. Therefore, President Bush had tried to get rid of that constitution but unfortunatley, i don't think it was allowed. In the consitution part about Habeus Corpus, it said it may not be suspended "unless in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it."
