I love watching the left seeing that their lockdowns did nothing in blue areas and actling like using them everywhere else would have somehow made it work. Secondly, you left out the part where the CDC said at least 75% of reported Covid deaths weren't actually Covid deaths. You destroyed the economy to basically stop the common flu. You did. This global pandemic was very much an uncharted territory development and presented an nigh impossible dilemma of trade-offs for those who found themselves in government when it struck. Of course the governments of the world commissioned the services of their top virologist scientists, considered their advice and tried to balance their medical recommendations, which invariably included lock-downs, with the necessity to maintain the highest degree of economic activity. The lockdown preventative measure was very much a case of, damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Trying to make political gain, as Bungling Biden did by stating that when he took office no vaccinations had taken place, when in fact he was one of the recipients of ''the jab'' during Donald Trump's tenure, is wrong. Of course there have been many pandemics since time and memorial but covid-19 struck at a time when global interaction and international travel was at an all time high. In this context it did mean that the world was thrown into UNCHARTERED TERRITORY as covid-19 spread with such unprecedented speed many nations were caught '*wrong-footed'' and in multiple cases were too slow to react and/or confronted the virus less effectively than they could have.
