Jesus, whenever I see these threads attacking a man who hasn't had anything to do with mainstream politics for four years I just cringe at their transparency. Your own OP illustrates that he's quite rightfully criticising the inaction of the president when it mattered. He isn't "exploiting" anything. The subsequent infections and deaths which followed Trump's fumbling of the ball could have been mitigated if Trump had been less narcissistic and listened to the advice which was being given by numerous different health experts. Normal to you seems to be ignoring the catastrophic mistakes made by the current president and attacking the previous one for pointing them out. Obama began a major pandemic program under his administration to react to crises exactly like this one and the first thing Trump did when he got into power was defund it. Then he defunded the World Health Organisation right in the middle of the pandemic, when his own country was the worst affected on Earth. To be honest, the very fact that you are attacking Obama and ignoring the idiocy of those decisions just reiterates how much of an irrational partisan clown you are. Obama used the occasion to try to smear President Trump's covid-19 measures by labeling them as chaotic. No. He's not exploiting this, he's correctly stating the facts. It IS a mess. Trump has been running around spreading misinformation left, right, front and center and he needs to just STICK to the facts and stop trying to justify his lies. Tens of thousands of people are dying globally and Obama, in true Democrat style grabs the opportunity to include the deadly coronavirus crisis in with his catalogue of standard dirty tricks. Of course no mention of his Communist cohorts in China whose criminal negligence in not advising the rest of the world of its existence is the primary reason for its widespread nature and severity. Obama There you go again. Obama isn't making the decisions you retard. Trump is making the decisions. If those decisions are insane -- which they are -- then Obama has every right to criticise them. You're a hypocrite, a partisan and a general idiot mate. It may be a surprise to you, being a conspiracy theorist extraordinaire and authoritarian promoter, that, in a democracy, an ex-President actually has First Amendment rights along with the rest of U.S. I know you don't like it, but, there it is. We elect our public servants .... and the President is STILL a public servant .... until he completes his authoritarian take-over. The Constitution says that WE, the people, have a say in how the government operates. WE, the people have the right to bitch about WHATEVER a sitting Pre*ident does or says. WE, the people should have the right to investigate thoroughly whatever is "suspect" in a public servant's life. The right investigated H.C. at least 7 times at a cost of $7M. and FOUND NOTHING! WE, the people should be able to see Rump's Income Tax records, his VERY suspect college records, his business dealings with "foreign adversaries" simply because THEY ARE SUSPECT! If there was anything "suspect" about Obama's similar items, the same should have been true WHILE he was a public servant. Most of it was shown, the rest was NOT "suspect". HIS education spoke for itself. That is obviously NOT the current situation and Rump is exploiting his hidden secrets for political gain while his incompetence is causing human tragedy! People within Dubya's administration were actively complicit in the murder of over 3,000 American citizens, not to mention the countless lives lost as a result of the wars following and the loss of civil liberties resultant from the Patriot Act. Well, there are dirty politics, gutter politics and Obama's politics. Obama has managed to limbo dance under all of these categories and bring the political scene in America to a new all time low even by Democrat standards. Obama's stumbling and bumbling administration let the Chinese, most of Asia, Canada along with our supposed European friends/allies use the U.S.A., as a dumping ground for their goods and produce while imposing one sided restrictive trade tariffs and barriers on American imports. President Obama addressed these issues courageously and put the rest of the world on notice that Obama's FREE RIDE IS OVER. Despite all the aforementioned the political filth has the cheek to criticise the best President America has had since the great John F. "a dumping ground for their goods" As a general rule, Republicans push for free trade and Dems are push for fair trade. Free trade will inevitably result in (mostly low-wage) jobs going to countries with little/no regulations - child-labor laws, minimum wage, worker safety, organized labor, clean air/water, copyright enforcement, etc. While a lot of the blame belongs to race-to-the-bottom policies, there is also blame that belongs to the consumers who prioritize the lowest price over the real total costs.
