Obama was meeting with a Muslim that had close ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. Can you Democrats believe that Obama was siding up with such terrorist and then allowing them into the White House. Nasty Conservative smear artists just like you were saying the same things when Tony Blair met with IRA leaders, but he successfully brokered a peace deal which no other Prime Minister in the past sixty years had even dreamed was possible. He would have been remembered very favourably in British history in fact, were it not for the unfortunate business of him being duped by the Republican liars in America who told him Saddam was about to blow up Europe. Dirty politics is synonymous with the grand old party. If you can't smear, slander, blackmail or bribe it, you simply pay to have it killed. 1

The impact of your factual comments was weakened by your own indulgence of ''smearing and slandering''. Tony Blair did a superb job at finishing what John Major had started and did stabilize that lose cannon, Ian Paisley Snr. Of course ''jaw jaw is better than war war'' and sometimes taking such a political risk can backfire. But even a tortoise can only make progress when it sticks its neck out.
