Out of all of them (lust, greed, pride, sloth, gluttony, wrath, envy) i really hate pride because almost ever one i know is so arrogant. I am not saying that it is more severe then the others, i just hate it the most. It makes me feel bad to know that they all are so common nowadays because in most mythologies it states that before the world comes to a end, all the humans will act at their worst. That means that all the rumors about the world ending soon is sure to be true!. Side: Pride

People have been saying the world will come to an end for thousands of years. When the year 1000 A.D. came lots of people believed that it was the end of the world, and since then there have been numerous other examples of groups believing an apocalypse to be inevitable. But guess what...we're still here! And in 2013, a year after the Mayans predicted we will die, we'll still be here. It's all a little bit ridiculous...but if you really think that it's true, feel free to send me all your money and possessions. Why do need them, the world's coming to an end anyways, right? well, for me, the worst sin a person can have is their pride. Pride is the only reason why people commit sins. They don't want to look behind them, to turn back where they came from and to ask for forgiveness for what they've done instead, they insist that it was not their fault. And that will be the start of their earrings. And there's only one thing that may happen if they wil not lower their pride, the continuous killings. Side: Pride

I'm not Christian, but out of the 7 wrath seems like the most dangerous. Anger makes people act violently and irrationally. In addition, wrath leads to more wrath so it spreads itself. For example, those people who were angry at America, attacked us, and then we were angry at them and hundreds of thousands have died in the process. This is why I don't understand groups that are based around hate (KKK, some fundamentalist religions, etc...). For these people, wrath has consumed them to the point where it becomes their whole existence. When one defines oneself only by who one hates, then they have lost their true identity. Wrath can hurt others in ways none of the other seven deadly sins can. Side: Wrath

For me it would be pride with envy as a close runner up. While there is no place in the Christian Bible that lists these things they are from the teachings of Catholicism with Pope Gregory the Great altering an original list of 8 authored by monk Evagrius Ponticus (see URL below). An over abundance of pride can touch everything and everyone in your life in a very bad way. Unbreakable pride brings nothing but sadness and misery to the person and those around them. Feelings of being better than, or knowing more are indeed deadly for it leaves room for nothing else but what they think they know, what they believe or what they think. Pride is an immovable object and those who allow themselves to be overtaken by pride are narcissistic by design. Side: Pride
