PS3 Vs XBOX, little heads up

Hello all,

Just a little FYI...

I rarely play games, so nor do I care which system has better game play.  I always kept an XBOX 360 around for the dvd player and the awesome media extender.  I have always owned a 360, never gave PS3 the chance... until my XBOX constantly broke down, and PS3 dropped their price.

Stating that I do not play games, I was pretty fed up that my xbox had broke litteraly 5 times... from movies? The warranty is still good on this one, but instead, I use it as a stand, to highten my PS3 up to my TV because my HDMI cable is too short.

When it comes to which is "better" regarding hardware setup and how the OS is working internally against that hardware, PS3 is winning the race.  I have had no problems for 6 months.  I would like to consider myself a techy as I have completed CPA degree at college and am currenting taking a Computer Business course at university so I am familiar with hardware, and how it shoulda operate.

Im not preaching for PS3, I just saw all these posts from a bunch of little kids, defending what they like and thought you all may want a view from someone other than a gammer.

Get real, its the facts that count.

Xbox 360 by far...The online interface (xbox live) is perfect, and Xbox has exclusive titles like the Halo Series, and the Gears of War Series. Ps3 has a blue ray player...cool, too bad that has nothing to do with the gaming system i signed up for.

lol... You can probably make a lot of money if you take a picture of your XBOX 360 being used as a stand for your PS3 and send it to Sony for their next advertising campaign. ;)

PS3 because of the graphics and you don't have to pay to play online.

From personal experience, I prefer the XBox, mainly for the sole purpose of the ease of control. While in most cases, the PS3 does have superior graphics and game play to the 360, the small, sleek controllers are far too small for my hands and I often cannot use the PS3 for long periods of time, as compared to the 360 which has pleasant bulk to it. Despite this, I truly believe that both systems have so many prominent pros and cons to the game play, graphics, games for the systems, and so on, that they are both in categories of there own.

It really depends on what you use it for. As a media device, PS3 definately wins.

But as a gaming device, definately 360. Yeah, PS3 has free online, but it's poor online. I don't mind paying less than $4 a month for reliable service. Graphics are usually better on Xbox since PS3 games are usually just ports with no real work done on them (they do have the capability of being better though), and let's not forget the annoying loads and everything the PS3 makes you go through.

Oh, and PS3 will eventually find a way to charge for online. You just wait and see.
