Parents should accept teenage rebellion in their kids

Kids are going to rebel, most likely. The rigid structure of the chain of command is seen as a relique from their days as toddlers and not something which adequately protects the more agéd teenager struggling into adulthood and maturity.

In my opinion, yes they should for many reasons. Firstly, because teenagers are curious and mostly they are rather try something banned. If parents prohibit their children to do something probability that they do it is more. Secondly, I think teenagers should learn by themselves by trying and understanding.

If I didn't get high and drunk every weekend I wouldn't be the man I am today ;)

That's not sarcasm by the way, I'm actually a lot smarter when I'm high; it helps me study more effectively... but that story is for another time :P

Teenagers are going to rebel, and the more you try and stop it; the harder they will.

Think of it this way: you get into a couple issues with drinking today with your kids and you don't have to bail them out of jail for murder in five years because most of the rebelliousness has passed into semi-maturity.

Kids should learn to respect there elders no matter what! They've done so much for you and now you(Teens)take advantage of there love for you by doing anything you like knowing they won't have the heart to leave you on the streets.

I believe in the belt. A good ol smack would teach me a lesson and it taught my kids a lesson too.

I found that ABSOLUTELY ABSURD. A FULL GROWN adult should not even DARE to TOUCH a child with an object of that sort. Like the child doesn't know any better? They're still GROWING. In my opinion an adult who even tried doing that is immature and impatient.

Beat it out of them! No child shall defy me when there is a cane within my reach.

Cuz if they do then they are simply submitting to weakness and rebellion is not the best option against your family. That creates drama and that sucks!

Side: No they shouldnt

Teens don't know what is good for them! The parents do because they have been through life. They should grow up and be eco-friendly or something.

I actually don't think so. True parents would know what is right but shouldn't the kids learn on their own, Learning on your own is way better and makes you more independent than following your parents. If parents experienced it and live through it they should let their children experience it and get through it (on there own)
