Peace is better than violence

This is without a doubt true. Peace is always better than violence. With peace, there is no discrimination, racism, and everyone can live together in perfect happiness. With violence, people die and some are irrationally sacrificed. With violence, death happens 24/7 and whether is be physically or mentally, many people are always hurt. So peace,is always the best way to go

Everyone in the right mind would say yes to peace and no to violence. but people enjoy violence. for example "the news" its ramed full of the stuff...war, terror, rolf harris, breaking news about more war, terror and rolf harris! but we sit there for half an hour and watch this "show" because we are enjoying it.

if the news showed happy and peaceful news people just would not watch it because its in most peoples daily lives. basically its boring!

i beleive so. I mean why not. We should always avoid violence at all cost. Fighting for a good cause is different. But that is where the real debate lies. Whether or not it is a good cause or not.

While violence is probably much more exciting, peace is much better for humanity. You won't think violence is so good when you're on the receiving end.

Peace is the answer. It's a shame that some countries do not want to adhere to peace.

Anyone that has experienced the joy of whacking his opponent up side his head knows that violence is better than peace because it feels so good. Otherwise, why do we have so much violence ;)

I like violence. I prefer a world with violence than a world without it. Why? Because peace is boring and violence is exciting. Humans crave violence in their lives, that's why we cram our films, shows, and books with it.

Not only that, but peace is just the absence of violence, not the presence of justice. It's possible to have, for example, a situation where one group is oppressing another group. Is it good for the oppressed group in this situation to remain peaceful? I suppose a pacifist would say it is, but I would say it's not.

Depends on what your referencing. I could be argued that violence makes us stronger as a species.
