There are supplements. Processed kibble and canned food are unrecognizable from the wild animals they once were. Feed vegan with supplements. Cats do fine and they are obligate carnivores.

There are supplements. Cats are obligate carnivores and need taurine supplements. A cat can live a healthy and happy life on a vegan diet. Most people feed canned or kibble. The food is so processed the can't even tell the difference between vegan and non-vegan. Make the ethical choice, feed your cat vegan.

"Taurine ~ Possibly the most essential nutrient for cats. Present only in muscle tissue and algae. Without high levels of dietary Taurine a cat's heart function, digestive system, ocular and reproduction functions can be devastated. Since the 1970's cat food manufacturers have been adding supplemental Taurine to cat food. They have to add Taurine because, as the chart below illustrates, cooking destroys the natural Taurine content of food." [1]

I can't imagine that it would be terribly good for cats since they are predatory animals.

Compared to what? The commercial kibble that's fed to cats now? Looking at the below link, vegan is healthier.

"The Horrible "4 Ds" of the Pet Food Industry

Another unconscionable practice of the commercial pet food industry is its use of what’s known as the “4 Ds”: dead, dying, diseased or decayed animals and animal parts in our pet’s food. These, along with road kill, contaminated material from slaughterhouses, faecal mattered, poultry feathers and the rendered cats and dogs can comprise what the pet food industry deems as “animal protein”." Seeing as how Cats are obligate carnivores and are unable to digest plant matter, yes, feeding a house cat an exclusively vegan diet could quite literally kill them. Take it from the person with a Siberian tiger as his avatar. Cats have a different digestive system, than humans. If you want to kill your cat, then by all means..
