Though I don't really like either (I don't enjoy fizzy drinks), if chosen to compare, Pepsi is better in its flavour.

I'm a junkie for Diet Pepsi.

Pepsi has a better flavor and better taste. It is the best soda by far.

Well, I haven't drunk either in along time. But when I was a kid, Coke was my milk and honey. I'm surprised I never had cavities from all the coke I drank.

Although, I do like a Pepsi now and then. It gives a different kind of, "kick" when you've been drinking coke for so long.

Despite those on this site who would smear me as being a wino the only true addiction I have is Diet Coke. I'll end up having way too many of them (usually through the worst of winter) and then go cold turkey the rest of the year.

That doesn't necessarily mean Coke is better than Pepsi, it's just that drinking the Pepsi products doesn't seem to scratch the itch for me. Which probably also means Coke put something in there which is really bad for me but which I now crave. Maybe the phosphoric acid?

Back in....what was it, the 70's ?? Pepsi was becoming more popular than Coke, (it was sweeter). Coke came out with a NEW Coke, "better than Pepsi", they claimed. It lasted about a year and their stock dropped, people wanted the old one back!

I'm not into "sweet" like todays generation, I liked the old one too. Today, as then, give me a decent Sour Mash. That's MY kind of "sweet".

You must be really old to be able to remember things well (as well as their new and old tastes) from about 5 decades ago.

I become an octogenarian tomorrow. I remember listening to Al Jolson on the radio, news of the war in Europe and the Pacific, Harry Truman saying "The buck stops here!", the Jitterbug, squeezing the little red ball inside the plastic bag to make Margarine and ration stamps. Yeah, I'm old. Got some winter in my hair, but I've still got spring in my ass!

I've never developed a taste for Pepsi. I do however have a love of Diet Coke with Lime. It's sadly hard to find but it hits all the right notes when you sip it.
