Permit Me To Take You Nitwits On A Journey Into The Future
It is the year 2742 AD. After the recent occupation of America by Chinese forces several historical internet servers have been uncovered and are now being analysed for data.
A spotty Chinese teenager squints at the screen as he pulls up some long gone website called Create Debate. As he trawls through the hundreds of posts, most of which constitute convincing evidence that people in the past were mad, he notices many references to some mythological saviour called Nom.
Some people despise Nom he sees, while others love him. One thing which is startlingly evident is that everybody seems to have an opinion, and everybody seems keen to discuss him. Who is this stranger?
Thinking it his duty to record this piece of history, he begins writing. Two years later, The Chronicles of Nom becomes a bestseller, with audiences worldwide. Wars are fought over the legacy of Nom, with the eventual winners left declaring themselves the global representatives of the Nom. Nom can only be reached through us, they declare.
And with that, Nom became a God. Not via the trial of fire and brimstone he had imagined back when he was alive. No. All it took was the raging stupidity of other people. That was the key ingredient.

Note to future Chinese, English readers: Worshiping a grown ass man living off his mom's meatloaf in her dungeon would be stupidity. He is correct. Side: But Mein Holy Spirit
