Trains. Simply because they are really comfortable when you are with a bunch of people because you are moving at 80+ miles an hour and able to stand up, walk around, and hang out. (;

It is just the whole environment of it that is not confining of yourself so you have more freedom while still traveling just as, if not more, efficiently.

I'm hoping for teleportation. (;

I never get sick (like sea sick or car sick) from flying and i can never fall asleep in cars or trains xD.

Much will depend on where one lives and where they wish to go. In cities buses, trains and subways will still rule the roost, I imagine. In rural areas automobiles for local travel and buses for a more lengthy trip or to connect to train and/or air travel. I don't see it as much different than it is now with the exception of more efficient automobiles. I don't know how far into the future you're going but I sure would love it if I could get "Scotty" to beam me anywhere I'd like to go!

Being confined in a plane is the absolute worst for me. I hate flying. With a passion. And I've been doing it at least once a year since I was born.

I love trains. I love being able to look out a window, I love being able to walk around, I love the comfort of trains and the space you have. My favourite train rides have been from Kristinehamn, Sweden to Oslo and from Grindewald, Switzerland, up into the mountains to ski! I absolutely love train rides, and, living on Long Island, I frequently use trains to access New York City.

Automobiles. Hrm. They're a lesser evil than planes, but not as lovely as trains. Road-tripping is fun, and I love driving up to Vermont for a ski trip, but I'd prefer to go the train route.

Unfortunately, aircrafts won't be environmentally affordable unless new energy sources come up. But when looking into the future, I guess trains are inconvenient for needing tracks, which take time, money and resources to be built; also, trains don't take you straight to your house...

In my head, we will all be flying with our green jet packs/hover boards to school or to the north pole at some point in the future =P

I don't agree about trains or automobiles. The best way is Plane. It doesn't take long time to go somewhere...and for me very comfortable and such view appears. It makes me relax. Finally it is safe. to conclude , you won't be bored.

trains. i've travelled in planes for a while now... n its getting boring. i've even gone around a few 100 miles .. n i missthe train D: its so much comfy too.

Maybe we invent some new fast vehicles, but they will be somehow planes.
