Do these sound like things Bronto would say or Nom would say? 🤔

Why did Mussolini keep a Marx medallion in his pocket and say rabidly leftist things?

Mussolini-
God does not exist—religion in science is an absurdity, in practice an immorality and in men a disease.

Timemagazine (Aug. 25, 1924)

Mussolini-
It was inevitable that I should become a Socialist ultra, a Blanquist, indeed a communist. I carried about a medallion with Marx’s head on it in my pocket. I think I regarded it as a sort of talisman… [Marx] had a profound critical intelligence and was in some sense even a prophet.
Talks with Mussolini , Emil Ludwig, Boston, MA, Little, Brown and Company (1933) p. 38. Interview between March 23 and April 4, 1932, at the Palazzo di Venezia in Rome

Mussolini-
What does social justice mean? It means work guaranteed, fair wages, decent homes, it means the possibility of continuous evolution and improvement. Nor is this enough. It means that the workers must enter more and more intimately into the productive process and share its necessary discipline… As the past century was the century of capitalist power, the twentieth century is the century of power and glory of labour.
Speech on the Corporate State, Rome, (1935) pp. 39-40. Speech delivered to the workers in Milan. Eric Jabbari, Pierre Laroque and the Welfare State in Postwar France, Oxford University Press, (2012) p. 46

Bronto, your selection bias is legendary, and unfortunately you are too stupid to comprehend that this is precisely what gives you away as the lying fascist pig of the board. You obviously steered clear of quotes from the very same page, such as:-

We Declare war against socialism

Because it has opposed nationalism

Three cheers for the war. Three cheers for Italy's war and three cheers for war in general.

Fascism entirely agrees with Mr. Maynard Keynes

Fascism respects the God of the ascetics, of the saints, of the heroes, and also God as seen and prayed to by the simple and primitive heart of the people.

I could go on and on, but of course there is little point because you have already discredited yourself with your own farcical selection bias.

Bronto, your selection bias is legendary

You still have absolutely no response to the glaring obvious. Either Mussolini was open about his being a leftist OR he pretended to be a leftist, and leftists followed him and his logic happily, otherwise he would have never needed to "pretend to be a leftist".

I think those were actually Nom quotes, but bronto put Mussolini on them to see if we'd catch it.

You caught me. I didn't think anyone would notice that I substituted their names.
