Police Officers sue Trump and far right alleging Capitol attack was terrorism, WAS IT?

The Police Department's apparent lack of preparedness for the Capitol Hill mob attack was due to their reasonable assumption that the building housing the nation's seat of government would never be stormed by those claiming to be red-blooded, democracy loving American patriots and led by the self-appointed Captain America, Donald J. Trump.

The second worst thing to happen to America in recent years was the election of the imbecile BUNGLING BIDEN.

The greatest and most frightening catastrophe which sent shock waves through the Nation was the Trump led attack on democracy and how he was able to muster so many to answer his apparent call to arms.

We need an apology from Trump and a clear admission that he was inciting open insurrection.

Side: No, a protest gone too far.

This is politically motivated. Trump asked them to "peacefully and respectfully" protest. He is NOT responsible for what these nitwits did.

Well, that would be fair enough except he talked about peaceful protests after his supporters had invaded and wrecked Capitol Hill.

If Trump claims that he was unaware that his call-to-arms speech would have caused deadly and destructive rioting then he is either a bare-faced liar or an idiot unfit for public office.

He was no more responsible for the Capitol violence than Hitler was for the actions of the Waffen-SS.

Trump rallies have no history of this kind of behavior. The only exception was when Hillary supporters crashed his venue inside, or attacked attendees outside. Peacefully and respectfully mean exactly that, not what they did. The FBI said no evidence exist to claim this was an organized event to crash the Capitol like they did.

Again, Trump is NOT responsible for the actions of these idiots.

I do not know of any other democratic society which ever experienced such an assault on its seat of government with apparent little, if any, just punishment being meted out to the instigator.

Trump's speech-of-wilful-incitement inflamed the rabble into a violent terrorist mob intent on overturning the democratic result of the 2020 election and causing death and destruction.

NO ONE SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW, SO LETS SEE THIS RABBLE-ROUSER IN COURT.

THE POLICE DID AN EXEMPLORARY JOB AT CONTAING THE OVERWHELMING NUMBERS OF TRUMP'S REBELS.

Police Officers sue Trump

With zero evidence. In fact I've seen the evidence. The left provides you a one hour gish gallup video of Trump never saying to attack anything or be violent. In fact he even tells them to be peaceful multiple times.

and far right

There is no group called "far right" to sue in the first place.

alleging Capitol attack was terrorism, WAS IT?

If it was, the left committed terrorism for 4 years under Trump. Attacking a federal courthouse and taking over city blocks with weapons seems a little bit more terroristic than a band of unarmed grandmas walking single file into a building where security waved them in.

Side: Yes, pure insurrection.
