Portland's whole crowed control unit resigns.
As it turns out, Portland's entire crown control unit has resigned following the indicting of an officer by an Oregon grand jury. I don't think that I have to tell anyone just how bad this could be, especially with riots still being a standard, almost daily practice in Portland. This also came in on the heels on knowing that a new demonstration was going to take place that exact night, and there is a part of me that has to side with the police on this. If the authorities are not going to do anything but damage their own forces over all of the same riots/protest. Then I can easily see why they'd rather not risk their careers. Though I think the move would've been far more affective had they resigned from the police force in general, and exited with a combined message for both the populace, and politicians.

I noticed that you never want to live where leftism is prevelent. Why is that? Hello Tot: Couple things.. 1) Where I live has NOTHING to do with my politics. 2) Besides that, I don't know WHERE leftism prevails, and 3) how do you know where I've lived any way?? excon Side: This is good for Portland
