President Trump is too controversial.

As a supporter of President Trump I'm beginning to feel that he either knowingly or unwittingly attracts critical controversy.
A day doesn't pass without poor old Trumpo having to defend himself on some controversial issue or other.
He's like a bull in a china shop, except he seems to tow his own china shop around with him just in case there isn't one close by.
Maybe this is because he causes drama by doing things that should have been done decades ago and not abiding by the media's view of political protocol.
Either way, he makes worldwide headlines daily.

He's getting things DONE??

He signed about 40 Exec. Orders. Fewer than half actually made a change in Fed Policy. 16 told agencies to study a problem and recommend changes (that haven't come). 2 of the Agencies could / would do that anyway. 2 were rejected by the courts. 1 was rescinded (Gov't hiring), because it was causing YUGE backlogs at the VA Hospitals and SS Offices. Another was negated by another that took Bannon of the NSC Panel. That leaves about 12 that did ANYTHING, mostly harmed the environment, so if you call that "doing something", I can't argue. I CAN say that he has done LITTLE GOOD!

He even had to destroy a government problem filter to get an unwanted SC Justice confirmed!

Bullshit in a china shop!

I believe I DID mention that most of the EO's passed were ones that tended to destroy the environment. One tornado or earthquake in the KP area and we have a national disaster on our hands ....aside from Trump, I mean.

Trump made one change that supercedes all other changes. He stopped American's hard earned money being used to pay to kill babies in other nations.

I understand that pro abortion people on the Left could not care less about our money being used to kill babies, but then again pro choicers are totally lost when it comes to the important issues in life.

That one issue was unbelievably important to the people who elected Trump. We don't like our money being used to kill innocent babies, no matter how many times you try to excuse it.

Hello A:

TOO controversial??? Nahh... Controversial is GOOD.. If I were president, I'd be even more controversial than him - in the OPPOSITE direction..

You know, I'd do stuff like END the drug war, and give treatment on demand to addicts.. I'd END the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan... You know.. Controversial stuff.

Hi to you E,

Please consider my points in response to your reasonable and indeed rational ideas.

Firstly may I respectfully point out that controversial doesn't mean good.

The accepted meaning of the word is to give rise to, or likely to give rise to public concern or contention.

Forgive me for pointing out that you sound like most, if not all employees who know how to run the company better than the management and are always ready with their profound and brilliant ideas of how to improve the company's fortunes.

That is until on one of those rare occasions when such a person is promoted to senior management and they have the opportunity to see ''the big picture''.

Suddenly what had hitherto seemed a simple and obvious course of action to adopt to resolve a problem becomes complicated with a tangled mish mash of unforeseen, adverse, and possibly disastrous consequences.

I genuinely admire your sentiments on ending the drug war and providing therapy for addicts, but alas such moves carry some stark dangers.

By legalizing the use of some, or all drugs would send out the wrong message to the weak minded lotus eaters and they would, ''get stuck in'' and live their useless lives in a permanent drug induced stupor.

Such a liberal policy could, and probably would lead to a significant increase in the population of junkies who would be further encouraged to know that they can have remedial therapy on request at the taxpayers expense.

With an increase in junkies the funding for their drug habit would lead to even further crime on our streets.

The taxpaying electorate simply would not allow their hard earned dosh to be spent on providing life's losers with hallucinatory drugs so they could live their miserable lives in cloud cuckoo land.

If the administration did finance the junkies drug expenses it would only be a matter of time before the pin-striped brigade,( lawyers) convinced the filth that their drug addition was the result of irresponsible government funding and hey presto the $ multi-billion lawsuits would commence.

By taking on I.S.I.S, in Afghanistan and the Middle East in general, we're are fighting these psychopathic hate filled zealots on their homeground and not in the towns and cities of the United States.

The war against international terrorism has to be fought, but it is best fought on, and contained in, locations outside America.

The White House’s Office of National Drug Policy noted early 2014 when the opioid epidemic began making national headlines. The drugs, which claimed more than 33,000 lives in 2015, include heroin and painkillers like OxyContin.

Don't see the Progressives under Barack Obama were to concerned with opioids excon.

I think he has already reinvigorated America in may areas with his 'no nonsense' approach towards a number of neglected international issues and has outlined his business strategy for the nation's fightback on the industrial front.

This strategy should see many U.S. corporations returning home and creating 100s of 1000s of jobs along with the ensuing massive increase in tax revenue and corresponding decrease in benefit handouts.

It seems however that some of the good he has done, is presently doing and intends to do is being tarnished by him being constantly embroiled in controversy.

If the Main stream media was Conservative, the narrative would have felt like Obama was a bull in a China shop and that Trump was a funny, entertaining old man, but alas, this is not the case.

Imagine the narrative on Obama before a theoretical "Conservative CBS" if conservatives acted like liberals.

"He was raised in Indonesia and took Islamic studies as a kid! Holy jihad! The liberals are pro jihad!"

"Oh my God! The premiums are unhinged. It's healthcare Armageddon!"

"He's a race baitor that is trying to divide America after years of healing! MLK would be pissed! He's rolling over in his grave right now!""

You get the idea.

Donald Trump is going to be opposed by Progressives for the term he is in office. All boils down to Hillary was a poor candidate for the Progressive Party and they got beat at the ballot box. Simple as it gets.

I guess 'you have to ''crack a few eggs to make an omelet'' and in doing so he has upset those of the 'do nothing' brigade.

I feel he shouldn't react so vehemently to, nor take the bait from his spiteful critics whose slagging is specifically designed to 'wrong foot' him and keep him constantly on the defensive.

I hope you can understand that it is the Democrat's goal to create all this controversy. If Trump had done the total opposite to everything he has done, Democrats would have attacked him for the very opposite reasons.

If Trump had fired Comey the first week, Democrats would have screamed he wanted to prevent Comey from starting any investigation concerning Russia.

If Trump had waited to fire Comey until after the Russia investigtion had ended (and finding no corruption), Democrats would have said he kept Comey as director so that he would go easy on Trump and that Comey was biased towards Trump. They would have played the clips of Trump saying how he liked Comey non stop to paint the picture he was in cohoots with Comey.

Do you see how it works with Democrats?

There is NOTHING Trump will ever do that does not bring anger from these pathetic poor loser extremist Democrats.

You can't be that blind to what is going on. I agree with you that Trump puts his foot in his mouth on a regular basis, but these gaffs have nothing to do with the constant turmoil created by Democrats and their biased Liberal media.

Trump is doing great job. Illegal immigration has already dropped substancially.

Yeah, a sort of 'damned if you do and damned if you don't' scenario.

Is the name Comey pronounced 'Commie'?

If it is that would explain a lot,ha.
