Presidential Candidates are not legally required to release their Tax Returns

There is no legal requirement of any kind that Presidential Candidates to release tax returns from any year. There is a strict and strong Constitutional Right to Privacy for all tax returns. Thus tax returns can be released by an individual taxpayer but cannot be released by the IRS to the public. There have been 7 Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates that declined to release personal tax returns they would be Brown , Buchanan , Huckabee , Forbes , Giuliani , Lugar and Nader.   

Now here is the view of the failing MSNBC and that delusional mindset.
"No law requires presidential candidates to release their tax returns, but history does."

If MSNBC could put a sentence together they would know that they know nothing about history and they even admit there is no law requiring tax returns from Presidential Candidates.

In the mind of the Democrats history now overrides Constitutional Right to Privacy.

It's true they don't have to do it.

It's also true that the American voting public have become blithering idiots who have failed to hold their republic accountable for lies and thievery and exploitations and not demanding this information and not being alarmed by refusing to provide it is their own shame.

Where does the demanding of information stop then ? No law in place for any Presidential Candidate to release tax information. The demand you interjected into your rant shows the Totalitarian mindset of you Progressives !

That was your stock response to who ever you imagine your opponent to be. What I said was it's not required, but the voters should have had more smarts and objected to it through their votes. Once again you don't pay attention. And that is your shame just the same as your shame for supporting Trump.

They are the Government agency who have all of Trump's tax returns and are the ones who would go after him if he cheated.

The only requirement of the President is to be above the age of 35 and be a natural born U.S citizen. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that s/he must show their tax return. It is a Precedent but not are requirement.

We all know that, however, it always causes a REAL BIG STINK if a Democrat or Independent decides to hold off on it for just a short time. Makes conservatives think they "have something to hide"! THEY seem to think we should also show our COLLEGE records and Birth Certificates, but then ... WE can't be trusted, they say. (WE don't usually get entwined with the country's enemies before or after an election, either!) Conservatives seem to ALWAYS have something to hide, so the same doesn't (CAN'T) apply to THEM!

I like the way the top conservative "leaks" a certain one that shows himself to be an "upstanding capitalist", probably the ONLY one that looks legit! Clever. He likes being as smart as Putin ... but he's living in a dream world to think he may be! He should know enough to respect experience, and Putin has FAR more than Trump at controlling countries, manipulating politicians and using "alt-truths!
