Proof that redistribution of wealth doesn't fix anything
Lottery winners who blew it all
As the Powerball jackpot nears $500 million, we're reminded that winning the lottery will not solve all of life's problems.
In fact, many people's lives became notably worse after they got super rich, and they managed to lose it all quite quickly.

Then what is it... Hello bront: Redistribution of wealth is when the government takes money from the haves, and spends it on the have nots.. Like, I don't HAVE a road in front of my house, so I'm glad the government redistributed some wealth to my neighborhood.. And, on, and on, and on.. So, you GET the "redistribution" thing, right? Winning a lottery is WINNING a lottery. Redistribution is when EVERYBODY wins the lottery.. DUDE! excon Side: Yep
and life's losers would be whinging about the fat cats and the imbalance of wealth. Hello again, C: I think when the truth is revealed, it'll show that Trump got MOST of his money from his father, and NOT through astute investing and entrepreneurship. The article suggests he lost that money. Yet, he parlayed his "brand" into a very popular TV show (I'm a FAN), and then on to the presidency. If I started out with $400 million, could I have done the same thing? Maybe. excon Side: Shut that Native up
It's that MAYBE, that weakens your point. You sort of defeated your attempt at maligning Donald Trump's character by quoting the article's determination that he ''lost that money''. Well, if indeed he did lose that $400 million and he's now a multi billionaire that speaks for itself. Here in poor wee Northern Ireland my old friend Kevin Lagan who inherited his father's successful but modest quarrying business is now worth £440 million. Anyway, my response wasn't about Donald Trump but a generalisation of the inevitable upshot of my scenario. Side: Yep
I think when the truth is revealed, it'll show that Trump got MOST of his money from his father He created 10,000 times what his father gave him. and NOT through astute investing and entrepreneurship. The article suggests he lost that money. It suggests he multiplied his father's one million dollar loan by thousands, lost some during the real estate crash, and then gained even more later. This is where I repeat the fact that the Left is made up of corrupt people living in constant deception. They understand exactly what we are saying about able bodied people who never get ahead, never get out of poverty. THEY DON'T CARE! These irresponsible people are their dependent voting blocks. Where would the Democrat Party be without low end voters? These people who lack the work ethic and moral responsibility to get ahead in life, are the life blood of the Democrat Party. This is why the Democrat's strategy of redistributing tax payer's money will never stop no matter how many times they are proven wrong. Poverty is a generational cycle. In the same way hard working parents teach their children responsibility, dead beat parents teach their children irresponsibility. What the Democrat (Socialist) Party does to the working man should be called taxation without representation. They tax us and redistribute our money to non workers who will vote for Democrats. The money they take from us is mostly spent on Social Programs whereby the working man never sees a penny of his own money. There could not be a more clear example of buying votes.
