I wouldn't go as far as to say its indecent but its not the best job in the world and I think it should be legalised that way the prostitutes could be monitored regular health checks etc it would be harder for Pimps to treat them dodgily and the government could tax it which could help in this current recession

It's an over-reach of Federal power to outlaw prostitution, and this is coming from a big government liberal.

Who is to say what a woman can or cant do with her body? If she wants to go out and have sex and maybe get paid along the way that is completely her choice, and the choice of her partners to pay her. I don't see what could possibly be wrong with this practice. In Fact i believe it to be wrong to make it illegal as its a hindrance to peoples rights. why not be allowed to pay for a service that involves intercourse? What is possibly wrong with that? Its is completely consensual and very very rarely is it the case that anyone gets hurt in the end. No third party is physically involved or present when a prostitute and her partner decide to do it, so yet again, no third party is affected at all from the consenting individuals. Besides who cares if you pay for a service, people do it all the time without the government or laws getting on them. If your going to illegalize sex for pay, you might as illegalize massage for pay, while they are two different services, the point is, is that prostitution laws simply get in the way of people's rights unnecessarily.
