Purple Squirrel Found in Pennsylvania
Percy and Connie Emert keep traps in their yard to keep squirrels away from their bird feeders and one day, the couple saw the colorful squirrel. "I thought, 'Nobody's going to believe me," Percy told the Christian Science Monitor.
Since then, a state game warden has come by to the Emert home and taken leftover samples of the squirrel's fir to test. And one curator at the Pittsburgh Zoo says he thinks it may be a gray squirrel with a tint of purple. "... it looked to me like this animal had come in contact with something with its fur and dyed its fur," Henry Kacprzyk said after looking at the picture of the squirrel on his phone.
Whatever the purple squirrel's story is, it's definitely a unique one. Do you think the fact that there's a purple squirrel out there is wonderful -- or worrisome?

While this is really kind of cool, that is having a purple squirrel, if it were a hoax, I would have thought that they would have made him grey with a blue aviator cap! Why you ask? Because Rocky from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show would be the only squirrel crazy enough to be caught out in public with a purple suit! http://upload.wikimedia. Oh, and I am worried about the sick person who paints squirrels for a living! Side: Worrisome
O my gosh you guys are over reacting just like when people saw big foot they were so amazing even though in was a guy in a costume-_- the squirrel is probably just spray painted from that a random dude that went to prison like 10 times and they spray graffiti at a random wall every day Yah fools Side: Worrisome

Wake up people. The squirrel's coloring is a mutation directly related to contaminated water sources caused by Natural Gas Fracking. Bromine combined with Chlorine and other chemicals creates Trihalomethanes, a byproduct of FRACKING - the process of harvesting natural gas. Ingesting Trihalomethanes = cancers and birth defects. I would take this very seriously and take action to stop Fracking. Side: Worrisome
