Should there be a diagnostic criteria for Personality Disorders, premature type? You have long-term patterns of behavior and inner experiences that differs significantly from what is expected at the age of 18, but you are still a youth. So, in adulthood, but under the age of 26, you get diagnosed with personality disorders, premature type, because your brain has not finished developing until age 25, and once you turn 26 years old, then you get diagnosed with full-blown personality disorders. But, for some premature personality disorders, such as Antisocial Personality Disorder, there should be evidence of Conduct Disorder before adolescence. |
