Responsibility for renewability?

Even though there are a lot of people denying climate change, I think we all agree that the way we live life today is already causing huge problems - for exmple all the enormous amount of trash we are creating, that has no place to go.

There are two options - either we need to change our lifestyles, or we need to figure out how to deal with the consequences.   Who has the responsibility to that?   Is it the governments in control, that should put the money and the effort in making bans on plastic, or putting money in invention of new techniques? Or is it the general public, the individual who should choose to live a more responsible lifestyle?

There is no piece of trash anywhere on Earth that wasn't literally made from something already on or in the Earth...

The point? If we trashed half of the entire planet, we would literally being trashing it with itself. Trash won't end the planet because trash is the planet.

Do I condone intentionally trashing anything and everything? No. Do I get hysterical and begin giving end of the world dolmsday predictions because of trash? No...

Are you then saying we aren't facing a major issue concerning the overwhelming amount of trash we are creating every day?

It's an issue, but it's not an end of the planet issue. Over time, once we are gone, the world will absorb everything back into its womb and continue as if we never existed.
