Professor Jonathan Haidt conducted a study along with Professors Brian Nosek and Jesse Graham. The study was designed to test how well liberals and conservatives understand each other by having them predict the positions of political views they do not affiliate with.

From Haidt’s book The Righteous Mind:

“The results were clear and consistent. Moderates and conservatives were most accurate in their predictions, whether they were pretending to be liberals or conservatives. Liberals were the least accurate, especially those who described themselves as ‘very liberal.’”

Right wingers wish to be free and make their own decisions. Left wingers choose to be slaves who are told what to think.

They have no fucking clue. Then again, neither do most people on the left.

The right wing has been duped by propaganda talking points and fear mongering campaigns to believe that 1. the democratic party is run by socialists 2. Most democrats or people on the left are socialists 3. The GOP actually represents working people 4. The GOP is the party of tax cuts and the democrats are the party of higher taxes and welfare

All of which are completely and utterly false on every level.

But those 4 points are their creed and they will regurgitate those lies with zero information to back it up and against all contradictory information.

Democrats rigged the primary against bernie sanders and backed Joe Crowley over Alex Ocasio Cortez? Doesnt matter. Democrats are still socialists even though they directly oppose and impede social democratic policies.

They will filter any information through the lense of these four talking points.
