The question asks not: "Which is necessary for survival?", but: "What is better?". Although human interaction is necessary for survival, but that's a topic for another day. Sex is more pleasurable than eating. In fact, when I'm in a sexual relationship, I often eat less. For example, last night, what did I have for dinner? Lettuce. What did I have for dessert? Sex. Not that we're rats but, scientists took lab rats, and put two levers before them. the one lever gave them food. the other sexual stimulation. The rats kept pushing the sex button until they starved to death. It was a real experiment, I read it in one of my Anthropology of Men and Women texts but I think I sold the book >< (that was my minor) The urge to reproduce is stronger than hunger right up to the point of starvation in most mammals, and apparently beyond that for some. OH then you can have your cookie , or cucumber or bum plums OR whatever and eat it too....I would not recommend sticking food items in your person (what if it got lost inside you , how embarrassing would that visit to the quacks be), nor would i recommend eating it afterwards if you did.
