I remember reading the stuff people were posting and asking myself, "Don't they see the hypocrisy and blatant contradiction in that one paragraph?"

I also noticed how no one was ever able to change anyone's mind.

This lead my little avatar to smash his head against the keyboard in cheer frustration ;)

But then I realized that no matter what views people held, it had no real/tangible effect on anything that matters. People were getting all riled up over stuff that just didn't matter. And comedy is nothing more than pointing out the absurd in things that people view as totally reasonable ;)

So once I resigned myself to the fact that I was a troll and made my peace with that, I vowed never to get worked up over anything ever again and I changed my avatar to Mutley, forever laughing at the illogical nature of humans... and that tradition continues to this day. ;)

joe_cavalry is not a user, it is a state of mind and consciousness. May the reader reach and surpass this state.

He's like the king of humor on this site. Though, I wish he'd be more serious

ths guy can find the smallest ray of sunshine in the dark and make it shine! basically, he can always find something good in the worst situations. but not only that, he provides great and persuasive arguments. he also has a great sense of humor... and profile pic!!! :)

He has retired more than once, only to come back a few weeks later, ignoring any questions about his retirement.

He has more posts, points and debates than anyone, else, with barely a valid position between them.

Joe is... well, Joe. I get the feeling he was the kid at school that was way more "special" than everyone else. He also probably ate lunch with the teachers.

Which is what he is on this site... minus the eating lunch with teachers part. He can brighten up anyone's day with an obscure debate, shamelessly point whoring of course, but entertaining nonetheless. And he's never hateful, vitriolic or personal... just a peace lovin' troll.

Joe's awesome, as someone else said the Troll you love, he makes some good points well hidden as a joke and some joke's hidden as a "serious" comment which doubles the joke when the comment is taken seriously. All in all he keeps the site lively

Joe Calvary. He's the guy who constantly reminds me of how I take myself too seriously. Much of his stuff makes me chuckle. What else to say about Joe Calvary........Oh, consider yourself special if you can get him out of joker mode even briefly! ;)

Although some of his debates are pointless, questionable, and hardly serious, Joecavalry does make me laugh with many of his debates.

CD wouldn't be the same without the ole perv. ;)

Joe, you may not yet have accepted the obvious truth that Boris Johnson is far better than George Osborne, but I hope you will someday. I just thought I'd say that first.

Without you, Joe, CreateDebate would probably be a lot less successful, and I think that we owe you because of that.

There are a lot of useless debates that people probably look at but don't know what to say in return, but that's what makes you interesting. Over 1000 debates in total is a big achievement, though.

If it was not for Joe, I'd probably have more friends. His seriousness has led others to believe that I'm not a troll. Do you people know what it cost to build a bridge?

Joe is funny and adds humor which creates a balance on this site against the seriousness of heated debates. And i admire how long he has stayed on this site.

It is like the when you say "createdebate" Joe Cavalry must pop up in your mind. He is one of a few others that creates the base of create debate. :) !!!!
