School food leaving American children hungry?

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/09/26/high-school-students-parody-new-school-lunch-guidelines-in-youtube-video/

Keep in mind that the children can have unlimited seconds of fruits and vegetables and this legistlation only applies to government subsidized school food programs. The government is deciding what is healthy and is also subsidizing the educational system that according to some should be completely privatized.

On the other hand, fat-ass American children won't eat their vegetables and say they get "hungry". The government is merely deciding what to do with their money. If the purpose of school food is to feed the children why does it matter what kind of food is given to them as long at it is healthy and is acceptable in the social norms of the community?

Well, fruits and vegetables are not as "filling" as meat. This doesn't mean anything other than that meat depreciates your rewards system faster due to its abundance of specific chemicals and nutrients.

Carbohydrates like bread and noodles are the worse compared to fruits, vegetables, and meats. They are the least filling, most addictive (especially when salted), and least healthy. School meals that limit carbohydrates to what is natural (like found in fruits and vegetables) I would be in support of.

Of course, I'm in most support of just completely privatizing the school system. But one step at a time, right?
