Science is the art of trying to explain everythoing. A problem with science is that it constantly needs to be adjusted - we may never obtain all of the knowledge possible, or even the absolutely correct knowledge. However, a significantly bigger problem is that some scientists use science to offend people and play mjnd games to make their self esteems low enough to commit suicide, and will ensure their legimacy and use the commitee, to make their words seem to be written in stone. These scientsts fear, however, that good people will use uncertainty of knowledge to overthrow the malicious scientists, and that is why they try to oppress them. Why do you think that many deadly diseases still run rampant? Why do you think people still cannot not possess significantly enhanced abilities for good?

At first it seems nonsense, that science might be evil, because since about 6 ages, parents and everyone around told us that we should study, go to school, get knowledge and etc. But, imagine, how it would be pleasant just to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, trees, sky.. Like a heaven, is not it?

Actually, I have example, people, who are "simple", "moron" they stop in developing in age about 8-13, or less, they see this world with simple understanding, it is like childhood-forever. And i think they are, truly happy, to spend there lives. For example, in Canada whole streets with families, where members suffer from this disease, but this "kids" go to school, fell in love(not truly, like kids).. and I think, they are happy..

So, science sometimes only making our live more complicated, in the same time tearing our eyes, and we do not see how our nature is brilliance.

Everything you see around you is the result of science.

We would not have advanced into the prosperity we have today without science.

If we had never turned to the scientific method once, then we would have never evolved past our ability to be hunter-gatherer cavemen.

Science helps saves lives and it helps us progress as a civilization.

I wonder how anyone thinks it does harm...?

Science gave us countless technologies that we rely on, like medicines and other stuff that keep us alive. Religion gave us wars, superstitions but only some values, that are tangled with prejudice.

It also opens up more questions through every discovery.

The problem I find with science is that you get all these "scientists" who claim theories are fact.

And does this override the fact that science also saves many lives by giving us the medicines and medical wonders that are the reason my grandfather is still alive? And the fact that we are using a computer to discuss this?

First of all, I think science does more good because without it, where would we be? Stuck in The Stone Age.

We wouldn't have any I-products, no phones, no electricity and most of all, no music. Well, I don't think I could live without it.

Also, there would be no cure for any diseases, and everyone would know at least one person with a different kind of disease, and not be able to do anything about it.

We wouldn't have running clean water. We wouldn't have clean ANYTHING in fact-just dirty everything.

As well as that, how would we make sweets and different kinds of food? Without ovens and microwaves and other cooking appliances, there wouldn't be any new foods to make and we wouldn't have any kitchen appliances at all at all.

So, as of my debate, I think that science does much more good than harm. Thank you.
