Sexism against men
When we think of sexism we usually think of it being against women. Therefore my question is have you ever experienced sexism as a men? If you're a women, do you know anyone who has? Do you see it as a problem?

I have seen on some occasions men get treated differently for the simple fact that they are men. The bar scene and club life are examples. When trying to get in, men usually have a harder time because the male bouncer plays favoritism with the attractive females and almost seem to hate the males that would throw off the ratio. Personally I have never been treated unfairly because of my sex, but I have seen that a lot of feminists think that men are the root of all evil in the world, and treat them negatively because of it. Yes women get 63% less time in jail i believe in equality if women want for us to be less sexist you have to understand that women fly under the radar in crime and punishment and have to understand that sexism happens with men and women http://www.youtube.com/ Side: Exists or is a problem
I have never thought of sexism as simply discriminating against women. And because of this, I walk into debates with angry and hypocritical women who scream "sexism" at anything that is "disrespecting" to the expectations a woman has about anything in life, namely expectations of a man. This unfortunately leads to an ugly debate usually ending up with everyone calling me "sexist and ignorant of the struggle of women". Sexism is not exclusively against women, it's about any sex. And it's time people realize that. -Me, a female debater Side: Exists or is a problem

The concept that striking someone is somehow made better or worse only due to the sexes of those involved is ingrained into most of the developed world from early childhood. This is ridiculous; it has the effect of making a male bully who beats up a boy half his weight somehow 'better' than an untrained guy who, in attempting to defend himself from a female kickboxer, strikes her rather than just attempting (in vain) to evade and talk her down. This is not speculation; these are two actual cases I observed years ago in my own high school. "Don't hit girls!" is ridiculous. How about "Don't hit people!" or better, "Don't use force to control people!" Side: Exists or is a problem

True, but sexism (or racism, etc) is only a problem if it is truly hurtful. Women do not have the institutional or social power as a group to systematically oppress men in this sociopolitical context. Hating a man because he is a man is clearly sexism, but it seems vulgar to call it a problem when women live in a world of constant and pervasive oppression and male privilege.
