Should America and Canada merge to make a "supercountry"?

Do you think America and Canada should form together, making a supergiant country, almost as if a continent. Why or why not? Would this be good or bad for the countries? It's my opinion, but I think they should merge to make something like "The United States of Canada" or something... Lol. Anyways, what do you think?

We'll take the English speaking Canadians..., but not the socialist French Canadians ;)

Canada and the USA would grow greatly in power, our already considerable economic, cultural, and military might would grow.

I don't know if any of you play videogames but this does happen in the plot of the Fallout Series, the USA and Canada merge and eventually have a nuclear war with China after China invades Alaska.

It would mostly benefit America. Canada has a solid health care system, a solid economy, and is a nation of solidly nice people, in general. America would benefit from all these things, and Canadians would see this as a bailout for America. The only thing Canada would really benefit from would be sovereign connections and a rock-solid military, something of America's of which they already take advantage.

No, the US would jump to ban marijuana sales and erase all of Canada's forward social policies.
