Should Flip Flops Be Banned
There is nothing worse than dirty feet in flip flops, the worse thing is when a man wears them, with his great big hairy toes on display. No one wants to see that do they? Then there's the noise they make and you can't run in them, so better hope no one chases you.
I saw a man a few days ago, wearing flip flops and mowing his lawn. Surely that is a health and safety issue, as he is more at risk of losing a toe, wearing flip flops. I do appreciate that it is hot sometimes, but have some dignity, put your dirty, cheese feet away, flip flops serve no purpose, you can't drive in them, because you may have an accident, due to the sole getting caught between your foot and a pedal, "Sorry, my foot got trapped," you will say to the man who's car you have just drove into and no doubt that man will take your flip flops off and throw them in a field full of cow poo.
Now, I'm asking you, should flip flops be banned? They are dangerous, they are unsightly and they make a horrible noise

This question made me laugh, especially your comments on the potential for a car accident and the man making excuses. However I believe they are far less dangerous than a woman (or man) wearing high heeled shoes. I would like to know if they really do make the sound "flip - "flop" when one walks ? after all the walking motion requires each leg to perform the same - so why not "flip" - "flip" or "flop" - "flop" ?? I knew a one legged man who wore the Flip only .... "flip" - "flip" its a mystery to me. Side: No
